There will be no action taken when the team is playing, there is no and never has been any intention to detract from the support for the team.

The timing, with still 19 days before we play Wolves, could hardly be better.

And the press release and second open letter has even stirred the Echo into carrying the story… when have they ever previously carried anything remotely challenging to the regime ?

Getting the backing of the Echo is a good start, even though I've not bothered with it for years the majority of blues still gets its news from it.

I gave up my season ticket after the Villa game when Moyes was in charge and we had gone a few windows without signing a player and Kenwright come on the screen and the fans applauded him.

The Echo back then done a crack piece by Dave Prentice about the food at the newly decorated suite at Goodison. He had a steak that was melt in his mouth lovely. I just thought whats the point.

I just honestly think they may as well be talking to a brick wall at this point.. ?‍♂️

Kenwright knows damn well what the fans have thought of him for years but clearly he isn't budging and Moshiri isn't going to punt him either. He may decide 'time's up' in the next few years but you can bet your bottom dollar that it won't come before he can look out at that completed stadium at Bramley Moore and proclaim 'there's my legacy!' - he's that much of a narcissist.

For the record I do appreciate that the campaign is at least trying to do something, but the overall messaging & timing from them doesn't ever really seem to hit the mark. Doesn't mean they should stop trying things though like.
well what has been done really? There are a few who will confront him but most fans are just happy to go to the game for a day out

Grow up man, that’s a pathetic comment imo.

It is my personal opinion and I find it equally “pathetic” that a moderator of the forum cannot remain impartial in a discussion.

The fact the 27 campaign is run from the guys own website and he pre-leaks the stats contained in the letter on his podcast just shows that he either wants the notoriety or he just can’t help himself.

Either way he is as deluded and out of step as the very man he wants the club to be rid of in my view.

Are they going to be demanding financial information of the Goodison Supper Bar next? Moshiri has no obligation to provide anything other than the legal requirements. Why would he provide information to a bunch of loons off the Internet, it's ridiculous

This is the point. We, as supporters, are watching our club disintegrate slowly. In two seasons our owner has attended 1 game, the limit of communication from the chairman has been highlighting some unspecified good times on someone's camera phone and nobody at the club will even put their name to a letter about season ticket prices.

Whilst he isn't legally obliged to engage with fans, do you not think we have a right to know what the board's plans and ambitions are in the short, medium and long term and what they're planning to do towards those ends? Especially in a climate where we're getting worse season on season and in real danger of getting relegated for the second season in a row.

You, sir, are obsessed with the Esk.

Haha I see you are back. I just don’t want the ego of one man to detract from the cause.

The man has shown on a number of occasions to be self serving in my view and people still defend him. Why would the club realistically respond to the rants of one man who has never shown any credentials to criticise.

If I buy an iPhone, I can’t demand answers from their CEO if I feel its performance is not up to scratch or ask to see their financials to check if they have scrimped on materials. By the same token, why would the club respond on a 1on1 basis to a faceless individual who I don’t believe speaks for the vast vast majority of our fans.

KAPOW! Take that messenger!

Is it not an open secret, especially after AU being sanctioned that he sells up after stadium gets built

If you're not voicing your displeasure at the current state of Everton (and pointing out the ongoing failings of those in charge to other supporters) you're part of the problem.

We're in this mess because protest is shouted down as 'Kopite' behaviour. I'd take that over our current slow death.
How am I part of the problem?

I agree something needs to be done and just said so.

It’s precisely this attitude toward fans that has split people.

If it's "an open secret" then why not confirm it? Our two historical local rivals have publicly appointed some of the world's biggest financial institutions to broker a sale and we're dealing in ifs, buts and maybes. A sale isn't going to happen quickly. Due diligence takes time, negotiations take time.

If that was the case, we should have made a move this summer with a view to new investors taking over at the end of the 2023/24 season. Presumably he has a timeline and a plan to finance the stadium. Why wouldn't you want your paying customers to know in what direction you're going to take their club?

Yeah, they should have been shut down when they organised a secret protest (photo opp) at the liver building.

The walk out during the game was a farce. They speak for a few people on the internet, not the majority of the fans.

I think he was agreeing with you to be fair. The tone I got was that "this may not be the perfect solution, but as long as people are speaking up it's ok by me"

The second half of his post was directed at people who think the club is "cursed" or "plucky" or "unlucky" with no reference to the chronic mismanagement that goes back to when The La's had a record to promote.
