England a much better team when playing on the counter. France will be favourites if it stays this way but England might have more joy on the break instead of having to unlock teams that sit back. As soon as Senegal started to get into the game and pushed forward they got punished.

France are, on the face of things, the better side, but they give you a chance. England are good enough to make that count. Obviously, you'll need people to stand up when it matters, but I wouldn't be dismissing England's chances out of hand. The bigger issue for England is not whether they can win one epic clash. It is can they win three? That's probably what it will take on that side of the draw. But one match at a time, as they say...
