he moved on and sold his controlling stake and he should have walked away imo and we could have had a clean slate to start from under a new regime. That is all I have ever said on things.
See maybe he should, but what makes no sense is people automatically take it for granted that would of been a good thing for Everton, considering the damage Moshiri has done to us, its safe to say one of his people could of got us in a worse state

Plus you get a free Bill Kenwright when you buy Everton. You can’t opt out of this deal.
He’s throwing in one of these for all 23/24 early bird renewals

Please let this be true, we're begging to be saved.

It will affect them. As the pound has lost value, buying foreign players gets more expensive. As the cost of living crisis hits, I’m sure some people will have to re evaluate how much football they watch, whether that is in buying tickets, or paying for TV deals.
As an example my e, Sky revenue across Europe has fallen 13% this year. Subscribers are leaving. That will mean a smaller PL rights deal.
Great to hear, they milked me for years but no more.

If the worst ever happened to us, I love to see Sky sink.

You mean subscribers to Sky or just to the football?

I think the ease of streaming isnt helping sky
The stat was in an article about football subscription but it was referring to Sky subscriptions in general. The percentage loss of income could be even higher when Football subscribers are accounted for.

I think that the PL has reached its high water mark. Illegal streaming will no doubt harm it more.

If Moshiri sells does that wipe out the previous losses of the club? I dont think it does. When the Saudi's bought Newcastle it was reported that they could spend over £100m on transfers, but this was because Mike Ashley had spend very little in the previous 3 years.

So on the field a takeover wouldn't make much difference, we cant suddenly spend millions again. The best we can hope for is an off the field change, and retirement for Kenwright and some of the old ways thinking at board level. the completion of the stadium to a very high standard and some new sponsorship deals which can put money into the club through the stadium sponsorship and training ground sponsorship

For me it doesn't particularly worry me about FFP or spending or anything like that, those things will work themselves out in time. All I want is for Everton to be run like a competent business, and not some old aged social club. I want owners who know how money is made, and make us both sustainable and ruthless!

Either way that City take over was about 4 years give or take after they moved to a new stadium, they didnt take over City when they played at Maine Road just like they had no real interest on a take over of Everton at Goodison.
You. Are. An. Idiot.

That was Kenwrights take on it, several years after the fact. "If only we had a new stadium" he wailed with his sincere face on, conveniently forgetting that his vice-like grip on his throne meant that we would have already been in a city centre stadium (Kings Dock) by the time City were bought out.

The city owners did approach Everton but received "No encouragement to proceed."

If you think the cost of a new stadium scared them off you're a what? Yes.... An idiot.

500m? At current prices the UAE pumps 280 million dollars out of the ground 24/7, 365..

Of course, they have costs associated with that but a stadium and surrounding developments is petty cash.

The fact that city were gifted a stadium was no more than a nice bonus for them.

Come on, Prenno.... If you're going to come on here and defend your gaffer.... at least have valid arguments.

Nice try but your speculating at best, talking absolute nonsense at worst, but of course you know that.
Those guys had money, serious money, if they wanted Everton they buy Everton.
The no encouragement to proceed stuff is rubbish, business on that level doesn't work like that, they didn't need encouragement, if they were serious they make the move, they didn't.

Idiot.

It will sink in one of these days.

Until then. Keep on playing with your finger puppets blaming anyone and everyone for Evertons woes except your hero.
