Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Well I had the neighbours around for tea last night, and I'm suffering for it today, so much so that G&T Friday is going to become G&T Saturday this week. lol

I think it went well. The sister in law from South Africa is still here (I had thought she was going to spend some time with her daughter in Devon) so I had to eke out the food between 4 rather than 3, so it was a bit light in volume. Plus, I overcooked the chicken so it wasn't quite as tender as it should have been, but was still really tasty. They all said they really enjoyed it, and given that they hadn't had it before and didn't know what "good" actually was as regards this dish, I believe they meant it. We all had copious amounts of alcohol before sitting down to watch the latest Downton Abbey DVD.

The only one hiccup of the night was when I nearly spat out a mouthful of yung chow fried rice when the sister in law revealed that her daughter (the fit blonde) used to be a stripper before working on the super yachts.lol Now that's something the neighbours kept to themselves.:). Turns out that she used to be a dancer at the Moulin Rouge club in Paris and did a burlesque routine. Well that's okay then, isn't it.?lol

Don’t know that Black Widow at all Fred.

I love the Marvel movies and feasted well on them during my enforced period of lounging.
Theresa Russell (who I like) plays a woman who's husbands had a tendency to die unexpectedly and unexplainably (Hence the title). Debra Winger (who I adore) plays an FBI agent out to catch her. Very good film,
