Newcastle got a major boost in the January window after the takeover. Also, look at the bottom of the table right now: Forest are the only ones who look vulnerable, unlike last season when they all did below us. There's no way Wolves will be relegated or S'ton.

Wolves are as toothless as us up front.

Forest are a mess of a team, Southampton would be an ideal job for someone like Dyche - get them organised and hard to beat.

Wolves are similar to us, in that the spine of the first team is good, but they just can`t score goals.

Similar to us, if they fix that, they`ll be fine.

Plus, at least one other team, always tanks after Christmas.

Its a fact though, look at last night, look at the table above
You even sound like tapastis with your fact nonsense.

We didn’t have any performances like last night under tapastits did we mate?

The table is the table currently - if you cannot see that Lampard has made us better (even marginally) than Benitez both last season and this, I can’t help you.

Lampard has made mistakes, last night was a big one, and he needs to improve considerably more and quickly, but we were heading one way under you’re chum and it was out of the league and probably out of existence - frank is still unpicking the pieces out of the car crash that Benitez left us in ffs.

FGS a point is a point - Please stop blowing up the FSW arsp - he would have relegated us - RONDON >>> talk us through that signing .....
I agree he woud of relegated but that was on us not him, he should never of been here, Rondon should NEVER of been near Everton, but we had no choice because Moshiri had wasted all the money on rubbish, did Rafael get a 80m budget? no he got 1.8m.... and did very well with it, in fact one of his players Gray played a big part in keeping us up

@4737carlin has been to Goodison…..

Teams that cant score many goals get relegated.

We have to get personnel in to score them or all talk of Forest and Wolves and S'ton being there to cushion us is just BS.

Our Target for the season is to avoid the drop and stay in the league according to the gaffer. 9 days into November and that is our kin target. He couldn't set the bar any lower. No ambition, no proactivity just stay in the league and cover his own ass.

How far this club has fallen and we have a proper bottom feeder in charge of us which is what we deserve given how badly the club has been ran.

Please post the article / interview where he has said that, as I haven’t seen it ?

We only stayed up with one game to spare under FL. It was by no means a clean achievement from him.

Potential for Bournemouth, Leeds or Fulham to do this

I have not said it was a clean achievement by Lampard by any stretch, he made some mistakes last season but he did improve us overall and I’m certain we would have gone down under Benitez.

“You have to earn the shirt and play well to earn it, I am not questioning anyone’s personality or insides when I am talking here, but can I question that performance when you get the opportunity? Sure I can.

As a squad, we need to focus on the main aim which is to stay in the Premier League and when the FA Cup comes around, try and win games with good performances, we have to be ready as a club to accept that.”

Yes we would have gone down under Benitez but Lampard still wasn't the right choice

Yeah, I can see where you are coming from there. Not sure who we should have got instead personally, from those in the running at the time.

FL still has my backing but some of his decisions aren’t helping him.

Benitez definitely wasn’t the right choice, most of us knew that from the off.
