We have 24 games to get 26 points.

We've got 4 of the last 20 points on offer.

Get a couple of forwards in January or we're for certain in the Championship, and that new stadium being built will look like we're erecting a mausoleum.

This time last season...

We had a very good start and then went on an unbelievably bad run, the results at home to Watford and away to Norwich were Terrible, so difficult to make exact comparisons...
The comparison is not a good one for right now though: this time last season we had one point more and a few teams looking already marooned at the bottom.

We'll need every one of those 40 fabled points this season to stay up.

We are in massive trouble here. Massive.

Hang on that can’t be right, @4737carlin was keeping a close eye on how many points we had at this stage last season a few weeks ago and we were massively underperforming in comparison? You’re telling me we’re now only 1 point worse off?
That's much worse than last season though because last season we had a lot of terrible teams behind us who were off the pace.

Worse off.... WORSE OFF you said it yourself, but this season we dont have the luxury of a Norwich, and this current worse off position was done with am actual budget, not 1.8 million

Like Newcastle who finished absolutely miles ahead of us? None of the teams below us this season are going to have a turnaround like them.

...erm...something pretty significant happened at that club last season...can you think what it was? :coffee:

And? What I’m saying is, none of the clubs below us this season are going to have an almighty surge and take themselves out of the relegation scrap completely. Not sure what the coffee emoji is for there.

And Burnley beat us under skinny Frank in a game we HAD to win

What is your point? Frank is doing terribly and should be sacked, but the fat man did nothing wrong and was unfairly sacked, yet there is 1 point in it and if we win on Saturday then we’re actually clear of where we were at the same stage last season?
