2022/23 Frank Lampard

Well Gillingham had 1 shot in 120mins against Brentford and got the rub of the green to sneak through.

We were outplayed and battered by probably the worst XI we’ll face this season.

I honestly find it comical that people are still on all fours for Lampard, I really am. I get that people want to back him to succeed but ffs call a spade a spade.

I’m not on all fours for Lampard. I posted some quotes off Twitter and you’re getting very angry over them for some reason. Relax, it’s bedtime.

But honestly, most of them just aren't good enough for that level and are going through the motions.

Fine. But the manager still chose them and seemingly would’ve deemed them good enough.

Sorry mate but if Benitez produced that result there it would be anarchy on here. I don’t want to hear any defence for it cause there’s absolutely none. He hasn’t got a clue.

Lampard knows the score.

Honestly just get rid of him now and get someone that’s actually proven themselves as a manager come in over the break to get the squad in order.

Beaten by Bournemouth’s B team - no excuses at all. Don’t wanna hear about no money to replace Richarlison against a side who had Jamal Lowe up front.

Everton B

He’s right. They should be able to do that.

The fact they didn’t is on him. No if’s or but’s.

Lots of "they".

No, Frank. "We".

Our B has a vast amount of PL experience. 8 of Bournemouth’s 11 never played in the PL before this season.

I think he’s using they to call out certain players mate.

Very naive from Frankel.

He'll quickly lose the dressing room if he continues to throw a good portion of the squad under the bus.

Dividing the dressing room? Cause that’s worked out so well for every other manager who’s done that.

He picked ‘they’. He chose to play ‘they’. He takes responsibility for ‘they’ not winning.

@Nymzee showing up a few of you.

Every manager has done it for god knows how long. It’s a chronic problem at the club that we have players who cannot perform consistently to a competent level.

I remember Ancelotti called them out after they got a lesson at Wolves away. Benitez called them out near the end of his reign.

Feels like the core of this squad (Keane, Mina, Davies, Holgate, dcl, Gordon, Coleman) have been around for too long and majority need moving.

Based on the 1 word this is a comical conclusion.

"On making 11 changes for the match…

In terms of the set-up of the game, I made changes because I've got to protect players who have got niggles or are playing again with the [short] turnaround for a really important league game on Saturday. But I also made changes because some players have been knocking on my door wanting to play and some players have trained well and made a case for playing. You put them in because they play for Everton and they should be able to come to Bournemouth and compete. Without even going into the nitty gritty details, they should be able to because there's a lot of experience in that team. They didn't do that – it's clear as day. I think the fans saw that."

These same players, who were hot garbage today, ASK him to play. Pointing the finger back is equally as necessary in this situation so that the same dressing room he's losing obviously as he used 1 word after a crap loss know that they aren't guaranteed anything and need to prove it.

Fact of the matter stands. Along with Benitez he’s got our worst win % since Mike Walker.

Not to worry though cause he’s sound.

True but every one of them got the can in the end when the squad downed tools on em.

Ancelotti and Benitez could get away with it to an extent due to their CV's (Ancelotti also was God like in the eyes of the owner and fanbase alike).

You and I have as many honours on our managerial CV as Lampard has - the squad wont bow down to him for much longer if we keep losing games + him throwing them under the bus.

Of course. And to be fair, there is anarchy in here. People are angry, and understandably so. In all honesty, when Benitez lost to lower league opponents and don't remember it being as angry.
