Wouldn't start him again barring injuries to other CBs. He leaves in the summer and we've seen what 3 at the back looks like with this squad.
Best thing we can hope for is he leaves in January so we're not wasting over 100k a week for a half decent defender that's made of glass.

Release on a free, if nobody will pay for him. His reading of the game is abysmal, his passing is poor and he’s always injured. There was a time when I thought he was our best defender, just never fit, but I now I just think he is very poor. Unbelievable that we pay him so much, get his wages off the books ASAP. Hopefully next season sees the return of Branthwaite, and the end of at least 2 of the 3 who played tonight, preferably all 3!
