He really is my (non football) hero.
 

Tony would be up there. He is a proper legend.

Read his book. He's pretty much living the life I want!

Bucky Lasek and Kareem Campbell also ace.

Can't stand Bam Margera though. He's a massive tw*t.

Seoul, Barcalona, and WC 98 were the international sporting events that most imprinted on my memory - Just a little too young to have fully appreciated Italia 90, even though Seoul was 88. Odd.
 

Weir & Stubbs when I was about 8 or 9. Mainly because I was rubbish at footy and in school I always played centre half as a result of that. Therefore I watched them and pretended to be them a lot.

I also had a soft spot for Teddy Sheringham I think, but that was probably just the name Teddy.
 

Eric Cantona (not for the kung fu lessons)

Glenn McGrath (amazing career, most accurate bowler there's been and the reason I started fast bowling, not to mention his charity work)

Muhammad Ali (for obvious reasons)
