anybody else think martinez should try and get galloway on loan for a bit? hes said he wants him to play 40+ games at left back before he moves into centre back, hes played bout 10+ games this season, and with baines not even starting he wont get a look in. If he goes and plays centre back in the championship or league 1 it will do him the world of good. When garbutt comes back next season i really dont know how we'll keep him, oviedo and baines happy, obviously the europa league would help.

Baines and Oviedo for me. Loan Garbutt. I don't see Baines in the midfield. Ride him out at LB for two years and then let Oviedo and Garbutt battle it out, if we have not already brought in another more promising LB at that point which seems more likely to me.

....I simply can't see this. For one thing he wouldn't get a game in midfield and for another why would you want to move him from where he is most effective.
