I think Eddie Howe will be let go in the summer when they don’t make Europe which to be fair to him is mostly due to being very unlucky with injuries and a little bit of overinflated expectations from overachieving last season.

I think he’d be a good choice to replace Dyche.
I'm sure he could do more than Dyche did with this squad, at least in 2024.

Just give it to Seamus Coleman and be done with it
This mentality is part of the issue that has got us where we are; jobs for the boys and all that Everton nepotism (As long as you acted the part in Kenwright's play!)

We need a steady hand that can provide stability, but is also not entrenched in their ways a'la Dyche.

It's all well and good saying bring in 'insert name here'; you've got to be realistic.

We are saddled with debt,
We have an absentee owner (who wants out!) AND still wants to make a buck for Uncle Ali
We are pending a second I.C. by the EPL for PSR breaches
We have a small squad, that even if we stay up will get smaller by players leaving out of contract, or will be cherry picked by better clubs
We have NO cash reserves whatsoever to improve the squad
Our DoF (KT) is allegedly looking for a new post and is entering his last year of his contract (Yes, I know he isn't popular, but that's another piece of a jigsaw getting shoved under the sofa!)
We don't know who are new owners are going to be
The current manager looks like he has lost the squad, doesn't coach/train the squad, doesn't have a serious awareness of tactics etc etc etc
The Academy does not have any players of EPL quality (or near EPL quality) coming thru
The club itself is a loss making business
The club has a huge White Elephant called BMD in the room that will keep sucking resources out of the club until Dec'24, Jan'25
We can't plan for a manager until we realistically know what League we'll be playing in, I.e. do you want a promotion specialist, a fire-man, or a steady hand?
We need a manager who will get the fans 'energised' again...

Just in my honest opinion

Let's be honest. If we go down, it wouldn't matter who are manager is, as we'd fall foul of the more draconian EFL PSR rules, and would probably lose the majority of the first team squad. Leading to us nose-diving into either Administration, an outside chance of insolvency or more likely going straight thru the Championship into League 1.

Happy days :celebrate:Not!! 🤬😡

Eddie Howe would have a pick of a few teams, before us. He wouldn't come near us at the moment, why would he?

No manager, who has a future in the game would. I wouldnt be at all surprised to see Dyche still here until the takeover is complete, at least.

i think we will slip into the championship and beyond... we are an absolute shambles top to bottom. There needs to be monumental change within the club.

We need competent owners, just to steady the ship, and a manager who actually knows what to do, and WANTS to manage us.

We are currently spiralling out of control.

It's devastating to see, but the more it goes.on, the less I care. We've absolutely done this to ourselves.

Experience managing in the national league north preferred

Bielsa had a choice and said nope.

It would have to be someone with very little reputation from a lower league. Or a lunatic.
That last bit highlighted kills me as its so true. And we're still doing it. Making doucoure the highest paid player at the club is as Everton as you can get. A player who struggles to even control a ball gets a fat contract extension.
