New Everton Stadium Discussion

I appreciate that Jacko but how long do LCC wait for it to start another 5yrs, 10, 15 yrs a decision has to be made about the site and if peel holdings are not going to push ahead with their plans than maybe LCC will be forced to act

A decision has been made about the site.

I asked this question few weeks ago and it iterests me a bit...

- is there a limit in the city of Liverpool where Everton CAN'T move without risking its identity?
For example could we move down south of the city?
No its a good question, for me its anywhere within Queens Drive. North or South End doesn't matter. Preferably South for me, but I know a lot want it in the North, just because that's the way its always been.

Anywhere between The Wirral and St.Helens mate
It's a joke. Where's your humour?

For me we need to think on a wider scale. Principally it will be a football stadium, but could conference facilities be incorporated, Leisure centre, availbale for concerts and surely some other activities.
Something like the Amsterdam arena with the retractable roof. Would be perfect, indoor concerts on a large scale, which no other north west stadium can match. We would become the no.1 concert venue in North.

I've championed this site for years, too. It is an excellent site and needs to be looks at seriously. WHP or Stonebridge Cross make the blood run cold at the thought.

And......AND.....Think of a camera shot taken from Prince Rupert's Tower, zooming in to the stadium in the background...day or night?!!

That wouldn't just be art, it'd be pornography!!

Anywhere within the Sound borders.

I think there is plenty of legs in this thread before we get any real answers, or as Gillett and Hicks would say "the shovel is in the ground".

Just hope ours doesn't end up like theirs!!!:celebrate:
