This is a fair concern given that our season ticket money, naming rights and merchandising cash go into an account we can't touch until the rent is paid.

I was under the impression they're securities / collateral LCC can draw on in case we default or something.

This is much further along than is publicly known. All parties are onboard and the progress will be faster than expected.

To me, the 'lease' serves two purposes, firstly like with finch farm, not being owned by us gets,around regulations on sponsorship. Secondly to all intents and purposes it is owned by us mate. It's a circumnavigation of the rules, nothing g more.

On on a lesser level, lease payments offset against tax liability.

It's in the report, 2nd bullet here. Re the first account. Although I misremembered, it's not merchandise, it's hospitality fees.
