I think it's obvious that whilst he's not perfect (who is?),Joel loves it at Everton and gives it his all. But I reckon on the whole his performance levels this season have been more than acceptable. Yes he made an error at spurs but the defeat wasn't solely his fault. A few of our superstar players were poor that day for the whole game.

As previously mentioned that dark day at the pit under martinez could have easily been much worse were it not for Joel. I also get the impression he's well liked amongst the players. His latest quote about the Rs makes me like him more
