What happened to Demarai Gray? When did he lose an arm?

Really hope he stays now. His 5 yearly goals from midfield might be handy

Things is , he needs to play 38 games to get them which means that Dujama, Harrison, Harrison won’t be playing.

Good thing is that he can play on the right so garner can go central or ( and this is not my preferred option) go to RB which would mean we at least have one side of the pitch where the two players can actually deliver decent balls into our new striker

Need to keep him now as he can cover both wings and provide a threat. Apparently his transfer was all sealed with the Saudi club but they changed the board.

If we were to keep one and miss out on a sale with another we've done it the right way with Iwobi going. We can still add the year to his contract and sell next summer.

The interesting thing is the power play dynamics, was it Dyche that pushed for Gray to be sold and Kev could have sanctioned a move but blocked it in the end due to numbers going out the door yesterday? Can imagine the humble pie he has to swallow to integrate Gray back into the squad and will he actually play him...

It's going to need a good attitude from the player and some man management skills to reintegrate him back into the squad if that's the plan.

He was probably already moved on in his head and now he has to forget about it and play for a manager who obviously doesn't rate him.

But it's a shop window for him if he gets games. He strikes me as a professional lad so hopefully he'll be ok.

Is the Saudi transfer window open until mid-September? Wonder if moving him on has been side-lined while we work on deals that need to be done by tomorrow night.

Precisely ;)

"Demarai Gray has interest from Saudi Arabia and has been told he is free to leave but the player is mulling over whether to make the move given he has a young family in the UK."

Old news and had already agreed a deal with a saudi team.

We’ve been trying to sell him, Fulham got linked, nothing came of it, he’s agreed terms and got a visa to go to Saudi then the club he was going to changed their board and stalled the deal. No one else had made an offer unless another Saudi club comes in in the next couple weeks or a Palace or AN Other comes in tomorrow

Another saudi team have been linked.

He should have been training with the squad and available while he remains an Everton player

Why risk an injury?

Well he needs to stay now

Certainly not.

Still think he will end up going to Saudi in the next week

If Saudi come in with the reported 12 million he will be gone they are not turning any money down

101% and we have to sell. Its nonsensical to keep him. £12mil is £11mil book profit.

Big gamble given that there was only just three worse teams last year and our defence and midfield is worse than last season. I hope he goes completely broke and Putin sends one of his special friends to say hello.

The midfield is not worse and its arguable if our defence is.

They don't care they want need money in

So do i.

Dyche doesnt fancy him. Thats been very clear since his time here so if he's staying now then he has to be brought in from the cold. We havent got a big enough squad to have a player like gray sitting around as not even a squad option. Not sure how good it will do though as there is obviously a breakdown with the manager.

Get rid of Dyche. Keep Gray
