I would. Do you think McManaman could play on the wing for a side in the CL? Nope. Afterall, that is Roberto's ambition. Think we've got to pull some smart, big signings out of the bag this Summer, league is going to be as competitive as ever next year.

From what Ive seen of him he would cause anyone trouble. He could play a significant part in getting us there with a strengthened midfield.The big signings are out of our scope unless we sell so Im hoping maybe RM has a few aces up his sleeve...

Rumours going round that Landrup is leaving Swansea

Laudrup is the subject of a bizarre publicity stunt by previous employers AJAX, a large ad in the Dutch Press is asking for the whereabouts of Mr Laudrup as he owes them 2.5 million quid!

It stems from them paying his tax bill when he played there and despite behind the scenes letters etc he keeps moving country and has come to this because apparently he has no registered abode.

I imagine his next move might involve a signing on fee of circa 2.5 million which might explain rumours of leaving Swansea.
