Youtuber takes his desperation for clicks to new levels

i dont think his content is aimed at 12 year olds

i've seen a few of his vlogs and he just vlogs his daily life - for some reason 12 year olds like his content and follow him like a puppy dog, his actual content is adult rated though

he talks about smashing birds all the time and his music video's are quite risque

for example

he's hardly MR PG

you can't pick your audience, your audience picks you

He's a terrible Youtuber, but he never struck me as a bad guy. I think there are moments where people don't think things through, and this is one of them. He found something that he really did not expect to find, so he felt that it would be a disservice to leave it out in editing... he obviously didn't think people would react to the video the way they did.

..............He's just really really really stupid.

He goes to a suicide forest and he doesn't contemplate that he might come across a body ? Nobody can be that dense imo.

Fkin YouTubers
This. Very, very few of them who make a living off the platform contribute anything meaningful to the 'profession' they claim to innovate. They're hardly the salt of the earth either, the Paul brothers being the shining example of this - they're stupid rich and everything is just one big laugh & a joke to them.

Take a handful of the 'top 20' YouTubers and tell me honestly if a) you enjoy consuming their content personally, or b) you'd expose your kids to any of them.

The forest is 12 square miles. Seeing a body that recently deceased would be shocking.

I’ve read about the forest after seeing what that Logan guy did.

You can’t walk anywhere without seeing rope and items left by the deceased.

There’s signs and tape everywhere saying do not go further or you will likely see a dead body / disturbing items.

He knew exactly what to expect.

I banned my son from watching youtube for eternity, admittedly as a sort of joke, but he managed to come home from school without his shoes (!?), so something needed to be said. What is interesting, though, is how little he misses it. Used to be a constant stream of the minecraft cretins - squid, stampy, dan TDM, popular MMOs etc and it feels like they've all been consigned to the dustbin of history without a backward glance, because very few of them are really providing decent content.

You're dead right that youtube is overrun with oxygen thieves who offer nothing, but are riding on the coattails of the one guy who is interesting. Dan the diamond minecart was reasonably talented of the ones I've seen, which seems to create an eco-system of parasites who just shout at the screen and manage to cash in.

I think that is true of many things that become habitual, for adults too, I took myself off Facebook, apart from a couple of cultural pages that uses to post quite good articles I don't miss it at all after getting over that little hump
