Player Valuation: £8m
Over the years we haven't produced all that many youth players of note.

Only Henderson and maybe collback will go on to play regular in the top flight.

How do you do in that regards? Of course we all know about Rooney, but has there been many more.

depends how you class that, we've bought players around the ages of 17/18 and then trained them up. I.e gosling and stones, but through the ranks it'll be the the usual culprits: Osman, Hibbert, Rodwell and Barkley etc
 

We also had Vaughan and Chebes coming through the ranks since Rooney. If it wasn't for injuries Vaughan would've gone on to become an established premier league striker at worst, and Chebes still seems to be stealing a career in the top flight too.

I also think Forshaw and Baxter might be eventually capable of playing PL football. They left us recently and both doing well at League 1 level at the moment.

Have Sunderland got any decent prospects at youth level at the minute?

Watmore, who is on loan at the moment at hibs. But, he was a buy rather than through the youth team.

No one in the youth set up is really knocking on the door. Might have to change next season in the championship as needs must.
