It's a squad game these days...which of these players based on this season would start games for a team not in the bottom three;

Throw in the fact all the youngsters we've got running around out there are nowhere near ready to be starting games and you can see why we're in this mess.

We desperately need Coleman and Barkley (probably not going to happen) back in the team. Two quality players who might get some of the others playing.

Pundits all saying to 'look at your experienced players', Unsworth saying the same thing...

Well, those are the experienced players...dreadful the lot of them.
 
Most of them.

Just not All at the same time in the same place.

Issue isn't how good some of them are, it's the fact they don't fit into a team together. That and getting a game once a month makes it hard to adjust to a new league

Yeah, and the younger lads aren't any better. Play whoever you want at the moment and it'll still give us the same dreadful results.

The problem with the likes of Lewin, Kenny and even Davies to an extent is the fact they just aren't ready to be playing week in week out. I think you could probably get away with a Vlasic/Lookman on the wing but that's about it.

If we played an inter squad game with Pickford and anyone younger on one team and the rest on the other...

The seniors would get smashed...that is the problem.

Yeah and we have a pity squad.This team isn't able to defend, we have no attacking threat, and we have no fight.We show up for the game we lose.Then we show up for the next game and get battered again.Whoever comes in as manager will have a massive job on their hands, fixing this mess of a squad.I honestly am mentally preparing myself for relegation now.I fear we could become the next Sheffield Wednesday.This club is on the precipice of disaster.If we go down then we are screwed good and proper.

The Seniors would win easily because there would be nothing riding on it.

Make the game for a trophy or something and they would crap themselves as per usual.

Pickford, Kenny, Davies and Rooney the only ones with any passion
Coleman injured and Vlasic interview seemed like he was fully committed.

"Look to the experienced seniors" they say...
