There used to be a whole bunch of us in Salford, incredible how many really. And used to meet lads from Stockport, Marple and Rochdale on our travels, great Blues and nobody ever considered the Manc clubs.

There's plenty of us around.....pretty sure @Mikey_Fitzgerald is from Stockport and there was a Stockport Blue on here or BK if I remember rightly.

In Wolverhampton and God knows how but I had the honour in 1970 aged 7 of being chosen. Always proud my love for the Blues has never waivered.

I'm an ole miss fan as well as an Everton fan. Any American Evertonians, can tell you how painful some of my weekends have been over the years. Because of that, the high from winning is so much more fun. Monday was lots of fun. Tomorrow better be even more fun.

Actually spot on there mate. Look at City yesterday, came back and won 6-1 with their star player putting in 5. Yet stadium was half empty with 5 minutes to go and atmosphere wasn't great. When they were crap they generated way better atmosphere and had great support.

When you buy success ala City, Chelsea etc. it takes a lot of the fun out of creating and building a team like Everton have to.
