Worked as a Christmas temp in GAME at out local shopping centre. Between the chavs trying to nick everything, the grandmas wondering what an XPlay 315 was for their grandson, the glue heads wondering if they could trade in an old TV that definitely wasn't burglarised and the relentless queues of grumpy shoppers, it was an absolute nightmare. I play games avidly. Always have done, always will. It's a viable entertainment industry and pastime just as much as film and TV. But, by the love of sweet lord baby Jesus, that nearly ended the love affair.
When somebody wanted to know what the trade in value of a Celine Dion CD was one day, I nearly wept.
I was there for 4 months.
