Yup. I do feel that our current squad of players is less complacent.VIvidly remember that game ,we thought we just had to turn up. Reckon the players thought the same .

Didn’t Ebrell miss a sitter in the first half as well?Remember that absolute sitter ruel fox missed for them near the end too?![]()
I went the day before and stood on the Kop watching the RS v Brighton. They paraded the Woking team in the stands.First ever game at Goodison was the tie in early 90s against Woking, I must have been 11 or 12. I think it was an away tie that was switched to Goodison from memory, nothing special but ended 1-0 via a Sheedy goal.
Sat in the Lower Bullens and I remember my Grandad explaining the noise from above was people stamping their feet in the Upper Bullens. As I say not a special game but the memories are etched in my mind.
One of the best goodison atmosphere's that nightA 1-0 replay win over Southampton in 1981 - O’Keefe winner in extra time.
Take your word mate,no recollection whatsoeverDidn’t Ebrell miss a sitter in the first half as well?
I think that Big Nev was their keepers hero and after the game Nev gave him his jersey. I remember watching the Woking team going to applaud their fans and him looking very small as the shirt looked like a tent on him.First ever game at Goodison was the tie in early 90s against Woking, I must have been 11 or 12.
