Your unforgettable Goodison Park FA Cup memory

I love the FA cup even though the powers that be keep reducing it's importance, thing with memorable games is that until recently beating Arsenal, Spurs etc it was kind of expected, away games, now that's were the best memories are

First ever game at Goodison was the tie in early 90s against Woking, I must have been 11 or 12. I think it was an away tie that was switched to Goodison from memory, nothing special but ended 1-0 via a Sheedy goal.

Sat in the Lower Bullens and I remember my Grandad explaining the noise from above was people stamping their feet in the Upper Bullens. As I say not a special game but the memories are etched in my mind.
I went the day before and stood on the Kop watching the RS v Brighton. They paraded the Woking team in the stands.
Also weirdly stood in the pub before the Woking game chatting to one of their fans who was from my home town of Basingstoke.

Vs them in 81
I actually got a ticket via Granada reports entering a competition for a ticket the game.
I was 10 and ended up in the top park end with them lot
Couldn’t celebrate at all as I was surrounded by very angry reds.
Boss night though !

Spurs in the 5th round , 1983.

The media darlings had won two consecutive cup finals and were favourites to grab a 3rd.

6000 Spurs fans there , unbelievable atmosphere , we won 2-0.

The whole of the Street End bouncing up and down singing..,

“You’re not going to Wembley you’re not going to Wembley na na na na…”

A truly wonderful day to be an Evertonian.

You'll laugh at this.

One of my stand outs is my first game as a season ticketer.

2 all v Aston Villa opening day of season. 1995 I think.

I remember to this day a player for villa heading the ball from the centre circle all the way to the tunnel. Ball didn't leave the ground.

Think it was Dion Dublin.

Other unusual ones..

The game where Dunc left.

Burnley at home under Carlo. I had a medical episode. Awful.

I think that Big Nev was their keepers hero and after the game Nev gave him his jersey. I remember watching the Woking team going to applaud their fans and him looking very small as the shirt looked like a tent on him.
