What's on your list?

For me...

Chucky Egg (ZX Spectrum version)
Speedball 2 (Amiga)
Sensible World of Soccer (Amiga)
The Chaos Engine (Amiga)
Streetfighter 2 (Super Nintendo)
Ultimate Soccer Manager (PC)
Escape from Monkey Island (Amiga)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega Master System)
Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2)
Arkham Asylum (PS3)

Chucky Egg! What a shout, haha!

Anyway, I'd have to say, in no order:

Pokémon Yellow
Mass Effect 2
Halo 3
Blur
Elite Beat Agents
Hotel Dusk
Borderlands
Super Mario Bros. 3
The Secret of Monkey Island
Super Mario 64
Assassin's Creed 2
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Portal 2
Braid
and no doubt controversially, Dragon Age 2

Interesting choices, Hotel Dusk is a good choice and Super Mario Bros 3 is a good shout but Super Mario World would have been my personal choice if I picked a mario game. You can play Chucky Egg online btw and it has been remade!

Toejam and Earl
Champ Man
Desert Strike
Tony Hawks

You can tell I don't play may games

Super Mario World is the token favourite, but oddly it's one of the only Mario platformers I didn't love. It was good, but I never really liked the controlling Yoshi. SMB3 had it all for me though. 3d-wise the Galaxy games are excellent, but the innovative magic of 64 wins out.

Add Lemmings to my list!

Quality.

Portal 2.

Even more quality.

Toejam and Earl
Champ Man
Desert Strike
Tony Hawks

Is right.

Super Mario Galaxy hurts my brain. The camera angles are all wrong for me. I get what you mean about Yoshi but I enjoyed the variety of it.

Bear in mind I played these games when they were technically "retro". SMB3 and SMW came out before I was born!

So variety, hmm, maybe less of an issue. I could understand maybe at the time it would be an interesting addition.

As for Galaxy, I got used to it eventually. It was confusing at first, though!

Fecking youf of today. Retro indeed!

Galaxy is a good game but it is the only one I have ever played which makes me physically ill aside from Strip Poker on the C64!
