When Slippy scored in the Gwladys St and ran the length of the pitch towards the r/s fans, and realised it hadn't been given, I was laughing and the tears were flowing, beautiful absolutely beautiful.

Barkleys goal against the Geordies was a particular high point, seeing an home grown Everton player show such skill power and pace was fantastic.

Also the development of John Stones as the season progressed was great to watch.

From a general football point the 'slip' was absolutely fantastic, but the legacy its left has probably exceeded it. Hearing it sung at every televised game always raises a chuckle, to know that every other club enjoyed it so much as us after all the BS about them being the 'people's champions' 'everyone's favourites to win the league' has been a real joy.

Anyway, Everton wise it would be the Arsenal game at Goodison.

World football wise it's a toss up between Slippy G and Crystanbul.

And in the World Cup then of course Germany obliterating Brazil.

I was gutted by that goal because I knew Cahill's sublime volley had no chance of winning goal of the tournament.

That said, I was also hugely aroused by that goal as well.

I hadn't shut up about the kid for a long time, then he does what he did at the World Cup, Cahill's goal was amazing like, weak footed thunderbastard.

Everton wise, John Stones.
