Your top 3 next Everton manager shortlist (being realistic)

I think Benitez should not be discounted after his comments yesterday. I thought he definitely left the way open for an approach.
Yes, he said he was happy at Newcastle, what else would he say ?
He also said that his family still lived in Liverpool and that Everton were a great club.

I felt he was not nearly as strong in his rebuttal as I thought he would be.

So.
Unsworth
Tuchel
Dyche/Benitez

Not a thread for discussion on the merits of potential new managers, but a thread for you to state your ideal manager shortlist of those 'getable' for the next Everton manager.

Now the candidates have emerged, my top 3, in priority order are

  1. Tuschel
  2. Silva
  3. Dyche

What is your top 3?

Realitically those are mine too. Foncesca there abouts also as a wildcard.

Ancelotti would easily be my top choice, but at the same time I'd love Messi to play for us - it's not like that'll happen anytime soon. :D

Tuchel seems to play with an identity and with attack in mind without having Martinez-esque defending. He has a huge amount of energy without being embarrasingly annoying like that clown across the park (if our players ever hold hands in front of our fans after a poor result, I hope we'd boo them out of the city).

I don't think Koeman was ever the groundbreaking appointment for us, but I'm certain that Tuchel would be seen as a coup for the club.

Silva is impressive. Watford don't exactly have a talented squad but they're doing well and he's widely regarded to be the next big thing. His time at Hull and almost doing the spectacular and keeping them up showed that he's got something about him.

Dyche is the safest bet around. He's a straight talking guy without the arrogance of someone like Koeman. I get the feeling that he'd love to manage us too and be given that chance.

Players seem to love him and the fact he's gone and had those away performances this season really put him on the map. My concern is that last season Burnley were truly dreadful away but he gets them performing well above their budget.

Lols at people actually thinking Tuchel is realistic. A man who openly says he wants to manage in champs league and win titles is all of a sudden going to ditch that and choose to manage a team in the relegation zone.

Have you not heard .... we have a billionaire owner, huge amounts of money to spend (without sell to buy),
and a 70,000 seat stadium currently up for planning approval ........

A man who is open to the idea of managing Everton. Do you know more than Sky Sports?
