Let's not use this thread to debate Moyes, as that's being done to death in all the other threads.
Let's just use this thread to discuss potential replacements if and when he decides to leave (as those Moyes threads always have the question "but who could replace him?".
We will assume the new manager will bring his own team, so Steve Round would also be leaving in this scenario.
If we get an interesting pool of names with which there's general consensus we could then do a poll, but let's first use this thread to throw out names out there, and to discuss them.
My personal choice:
Mirko Slomka
He has a good record in Europe (quarters in Champions League, and semis in UEFA Cup) and has finished well in the Bundesliga (2nd and a couple of 4th's). He's at a good age (44) and has proven he can flexibly evolve tactics and playing-style.
He's also not a big-enough name that would render him unrealistic for us, and his current salary of €1m per year is far less than Moyes' €4m-odd.
I'm not sure if he would be up for the challenge of managing an under-achieving but historically big club in the Premiership, and I don't know how good his English is, but he gives off the impression he's bright so it can be assumed he can get by. He also seems quite the jolly chap
