Doesn't have to be football related, just someone who you admire, wanna bum, or have idolised at some stage

Mine is, Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway

Quite rightly, if anyone's reading, you're possibly thinking, WHO?

I used to play a lot of Basketball as a teen and whilst all my friends decided to pick Michael Jordan as their massively obvious choice of a favourite player, I was for some reason drawn to Anfernee Hardaway.

Penny was never the best player in the league, he wasn't even the best or most well known player in his own team, but he had that ace bit of flair, could do just about everything on the court and was always the nice guy. As you may know, I love a nice guy. A 4 time All Star player, American Dream Team player and played for the likes of Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks and the Miami Heat, he was obviously a very tidy player

I think he always stood out for me, as he was someone who could pull something out of nothing, always a fancy pass or a monster dunk. He was a like a David Silva of the court or the EFCNik of GOT. Not Jonny boring Stockton for example

He also appeared in his own Nike Commercials (with Chris Rock playing the voice of Lil Penny) and an awesome Basketball film alongside Shaq called Blue Chips. If you like Sports films, I highly recommend it if you can find a copy

Legend.

Anyone else care to share theirs?

Oh hell Yes.

I loved wresting back in the day when this man was the ultimate.

Ooooooh myyyyy Undertaker. Legend.

Sign him up Moylez
(Pictures Blue Bill clutching an Urn wheeling him out onto the pitch)
Good God, business has just picked up King

I laughed out loud at that.

So, basically we're all saying, wrestling was ace in 90's, but crap since? Thought so x

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Wrestling will always be ace, it was just more ace in the 90's. Well later part of it anyway.

It always goes through spells of crapness when you think it will never be good again then boooooom its back to aceness.

And talking of Ace..................
