Go on sum it in one or two sentences

I played in multiple recreational and travel leagues in my teenage years and even played in college. (Division 3!) you could get stoned and drunk and still be on a team. I am a tricky winger and would score an odd goal here in there. I would love taunting other players..

3 years I became a soccer trainer for a travel soccer club. It has been an amazing learning curve teaching the beautiful game. It is quite rewarding being a soccer coach here in the states where soccer is not the most popular sport.

I was on a traveling team when I was younger but I was never very good. Played defense mostly.

In high school I did cross country instead since they were during the same season. Qualified for the state meet 3 times.

In hindsight, with that sort of running ability I probably could've made a decent DM or fullback had I stuck with it and worked on my on-the-ball skills.

If only Mo Farah had played footy.

I was a "utility player" kinda like Phil Neville but I didn't point as much or come out with annoying cliches. Best position was right back and centre back as a nipper. Defensive midfield as I got older.

I was really proud when my school coach, who was once England schoolboys coach, said I was too lazy to be a professional footballer. He didn't say I was too gash. It really boosted my confidence.

I played my first game for a club when I was 14, was still playing at 48. Enjoyed every minute of it. Was offered a trial for an Irish League club when I was 16 but didn't bother with it as I thought it was only a matter of time before an English team would snap me up. Never happened, but going out on a Saturday to play was my life for years. Still have the boots just in case somebody needs me.

played 2 seasons when I was 9-10. First season we were 0-8, I was a RB/CB. What I remember most about this season is that in our 1st match we were winning 3-0 at halftime and I was all like damn we are good.

2nd season I was a on a different side and played up front as a striker. I was one of the few players that age who would pass so my jerb was to get the ball to our other man-child who was also playing striker. I scored 1 goal all season but had a couple assists. I was the KONE of the West Mifflin Youth soccer league. We finished with 1 win 2 losses and 5 draws. This put us in the playoffs where we lost 1-0 on an own goal.

Played my last game in the Over 35's league at Te Atatu Auckland aged 59yrs 9mths, scored 1, a cahill-esque come from nowhere header. Thought about doing the corner flag thing but 'kit too far what with going back to the centre circle for the restart. We won 3-1, had a few beers, thought, It's not going to get any better than this, good a time as any to quit, threw the boots in the bin, never kicked a ball in anger again.

had 5 seasons in the craven minor league, i was a goal machine, accidently stumbled across my old team playing last weekend so stayed to watch, they beat southport about 8-0, scenes
