Whitebootman

Player Valuation: £35m
The festival season is not far away. I was reading a piece on the perfect festival lineup at the weekend, and though of this as my day in the sun.

Screening of 1985 Semi final against Bayen Munich at Goodison, with a commentary from some of the players involved.

A beer tent with Ernest Hemmingway talking about his work.

Then The Who followed by The Beatles.

With the event held on Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janerio.

What would be your perfect festival?

What would be your perfect festival?
Love the venue and the footie but replace Hemmingway with Woody Allen. Put Steely Dan, Little Feat, The Kinks, The Small Faces, The Stones, Otis Reading, Sly and The Family Stone, Talking Heads, The Jam, The Clash, XTC, Elvis Costello, Ian Dury and The Blockheads, Stevie Wonder (early 70s) and Lou Reed in the line up along with The Who and The Beatles and I'll call it perfect

Replace the fun boy indie pap with The Roots, M83, Mr Bungle, Jimmy Eat World and Prince headlining and i'm there.

Bill Gates couldn't afford to fund my festival...it'd be some sort of utopian cross between Wonka's candy factory, Donnington, Download, Woodstock, E3, CES, the X-Games and a world-wide orgy.

I'll turn up for this one as well.

I'm playing Glastonbury this year with Candi Staton, 9pm Saturday night on the Park stage.

Anyone going? Be good to meet some of you boys

spot on Reids, the liberals too - all labour supporters knew they'd do it! However i am quite proud as i campaigned, leafletted, canvassed and pestered Wrexham to vote labour - they did, and i got to meet Gord!

Cheers mate, did Glastonbury 2 years ago... It got very messy! Fantastic festival though, I can't reccomend it highly enough!
