This is, indeed, my one and only karaoke song. I will only sing it after I have fully absorbed a medium large quantity of brown liquor, either from Kentucky or points north of you lot there in L6. It is the perfect country western song. RIP Steve Goodman.

Then they had the "great" idea of us all impersonating our next stars. Hoped to get Elvis, but got this bugger.
Throat hurt for ages after it

....one of the many things I love about today's youngsters is their willingness to stand up in company and sing at karaoke. Folk seem to have signature songs. At his recent engagement party Little Eggs gave his rendition of the Coral's 'Dreaming of You' and immediately invited me up.

I was making my Karaoke debut and couldn't refuse in front of all his mates. I'm known for jigging around the house to the Mavericks 'Dance the Night Away' and sure enough it was loaded and ready for me to blast out. By no means a classic, but my feel good tune. Mrs Eggs left the room in embarrassment, everybody else joined in and seemed to like it.

A few hours later after plenty more grog, the kids asked me to sing another. I went for Bobby Daren 'Beyond the Sea'. Applause, or that's what it sounded like and my karaoke debut was over.

True Story.

I have never sang karaoke. But everytime i have ever got the courage to get up and sing i have then been told no more requests, finishing soon.

Everytime
