Bolton LC sf Jan 77 - I was at others with my dad but that's first I can recall. Bizarrely I don't remember McKenzie's goal but Whatmore's last minute equaliser is etched in my memory.

Sure this has been done before but let's do it again. This was mine. Forgot my coat and got soaked. Remember being overwhelmed by the crowd and 2 cracking goals from Cottee. A young Matthew le tissier coming off the bench and possibly our cup winner Paul Rideout playing for them?

I was at this game. Sat in n the Upper Bullens.
Things I remember about this game. We got in super early and I remember Madonna’s Cherish being played during the warm up. (I can’t hate the song since) it was a great atmosphere and Jimmy Case was taking dogs abuse throughout as I recall which amused me no end. I also remember Rats was sporting new highlights which seemed to insight the gentleman in front of us no end for some reason, causing him to loudly question our captain’s sexuality the entire game. Imagine that today. Seems like yesterday but also I lifetime ago too.

It was a Derby game. My Dad was a Liverpool fan and I had been to Anfield numerous times with him. My uncle Ray Spriggs was the only Evertonian in the family. He got upper Gladwys tickets for me and my Dad. Liverpool won with a goal by Alan Waddle "exactly" A guy gave me an Everton Rosette which I had for years, I was 9 at the time.
