Don't remember those, I got into GNR in 89 so must have been 87/88, Will be worth a few quid I'm sure.

They were a bit asinine as the cd was inside and 2/3 of the box was just empty filler...they were just nice in the fact that they had a large cover on them like albums. They weren't around for too long before the tree huggers had a hissy, which was probably justified.
