First club - Macmillans in Concert Square age 16.

Dry Martini and Lemonade in the Baby Elephant in Woolton on the day I got my O Level results.

First time I got really bevvied in a pub was on vodka and lime in The Greenhills about a year later

The first time I got served on my own was Paddy’s Bar on London Road. Used to go there for a pint when we were 14/15.

The dolphin was the worst one I ever went into for underage drinking,I was 18 and about 5 years older than everyone else,or the place was full of pantomime midgets,no feet touched the floor while they were sitting

Oh christ, that reminds me! Portishead had a Pub called The Hole in One, run by twin brothers who honest to god, were the spit of Boss Hogg (?) from the Dukes of Hazard, and the down stairs bar there was rulez FREE. Mine must have been there, prob about 15 with me brother.
