Fort William to Mallaig is a great trip during the spring/summer for the scenary. horrendous in winter.

left queens park, london at 04.30, got 06.00 train from kings cross. kings cross to edinburgh. edinburgh to glasgow queens. glasgow to fort william. fort william to mallaig. tented it on the side road. missed the last ferry. got slaughtered.

menu for three
48 kronenburgs
1 bottle of vodka
1 bottle of rose
1 litre of coke
10 pack of sausage rolls
2 (6 pack) of mccoys
6 double sandwiches
large pack of skittles
3 double whooper meals

left at end of the day
3 cans of kronenburg

woke up with a massive massive hangover!!!! puked outside a morrisons in isle of skye trying to open a tin a tuna fish with a knife. crazy trips crazy days.

Can I just say I have travelled on this train and even when it passes a similar train going the opposite direction in excess of 200 mph you don't feel a tremor and hardly a noise.

A complete triumph of engineering.
