The Cooper's tavern in Burton on Trent used to do this with some tremendous ales, over a bar the size of a broadsheet newspaper. A mate lived there and I enjoyed visiting.

A few doors away was a brilliant curry house, that had no licence, so you could carry proper beer in with your grub.

Bliss.

Hulsons in Mold do the best pork pies in existence. Go in there on a Saturday morning, wait in line, and get them when they are still warm out of the oven.

Kettle crisps, Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar. We buy the bag of 5 pack so as to have a small delicious treat to stop me scoffing the large bag. However I just eat the 5 bags straight, although I do get up and walk into the kitchen each time for my step count like.
