Carrying a passing interest in Marvel from being a kid i used to love Spiderman and Xmen on Fox Kids (ask your kids) so i grew up with them. For some reason i always liked Gambit, even though his superpower is throwing cards at people! Wolverine is everything you want from a character though, brooding, atitude, immortal and claw hands!

I love Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, but before i saw the film i thought Ironman was a boring character, not too sure why. Same as Captain America, what a boring character, only the good ol stars and stripes keep him in the lime light. Nothing like captain Britain i tell ya! Hulk has been saved by the Avengers, personally the hulk films bored me as well but from a geek perspective i loved him in the new one. They need to introduce more characters though, Spiderman, Wolverine, Xmen al could play a part in the Marvel films now.

For me the best film moment in any Marvel fim came in Xmen 3. Vinnie Jones running through a wall (I think) and saying 'I'm the juggernaught, Bitch'.

Terrible acting and singlehandedly killed off a supervillan,

Fox-series Gambit was cool as hell.

Greatest 1-minute intro ever:

That X-Men cartoon was very dark for being essentially a kids show

I wish kids shows were more like that these days. We coddle them too much in my opinion

In X-Men and Animals of Farthing Wood, characters would die and there would be upsetting scenes.

Farthing Wood killed off the whole cast if I remember correctly

What I'm basically saying is, let's traumitise kids by shoving the fact of their own mortality in their faces at a young and impressionable age

Had to go with Hawkeye as the comic version is a smart arse with attitude problems but the film version is anaemic in comparison. Beast deserves a mention especially when paired with Wonderman. Cap America is V Dull and Wolverine is too obvious people...
