This place ebbs and flows, it's got seasons.

So, taking into account how long you've been here, what was your favourite era on here.

Loads for me, the chatbox weekend nights were boss as was the World Cup last here which coincided with BB-gate too. I also liked the original clique-gate.

Well I've been here for 9 months now.

Which is long enough to have seen a few people come and go. Tubey and Lynne both joined after me. They've made the place a lot better.

And I've seen Ghost finally fall on his sword, Bunds quit, BLS reinvent himself as a lurker and Goat go from posting every other second to every other day.

Some good things then, and some bad things. But I don't know. I know a lot of oldies say this forum is worse than it used to be, but every day I feel even more of a part of the community here. It's a fairly messed up, weird community, like, but still. VIVA GOT.

Porbably either shortly after the cup final or during our great end of season charge last year (but before the world cup). One of those times when I was feeling optimistic and bullish about Everton and football and life in general. Before our ****ness finally beat some cynicism and pessimism into me.

Back when I remained convinced that any day now, the board would find the money to at least buy a player from the championship going cheap, Everton would win a trophy, England would win a game, Gerrard would go to jail, Matt Damon and Davek would run hand in hand through a sun drenched butterly filled meadow, Chicoazul would stop trying to wind people up, I would win the lottery and all would be right with the world.

Hallowed days, my friends, hallowed days.
