Dell Boy

Player Valuation: £35m
Am sure it's been done before but meh there's always a new audience.

Who is your favourite player? You don't have to have seen him play nor even have been born when he played. Whether he was world-class or not or merely gave his all for the team - by whatever definition you want, who's your top Everton player?

My favourite player was Andre Kanchelskis. At the time i had just gotten my first season ticket so the new star of the team was a big draw for me. I had been given a DANKA top with Kanchelskis 17 on the back and at such a young age he was the obvious idol for me. I remember being outraged that Lee Sharpe had broken his shoulder and not been sent off for it. To this day i am not too sure what actually happened!

My Hero was Duncan Ferguson, simply because he was everything a everton player should be. For all the years he played for us, injuries and suspensions aside, he should be fondly remembered. He may never be compared to the true club greats but nmae the last player who genuinely bought into our club and loved us for it?

My past ones have been:

Dunc
Cahill
Baines

The current one is Coleman. Although I see plenty of fav potential in McCarthy.

Andrei Kanchelskis - just the way he single handedly twotted everyone with his pace and footwork... shame it never worked out for him

I'll always have a soft spot for him, getting two at the Kop end after we were battered the whole game haha!.... it's the opposite nowadays sadly :(

Tim Cahill. There's been better players but:

One of the hardest working, most passionate and best players I've seen in my 18 years of being a blue.

And he's an Evertonian. A proper Evertonian.

Dunc.

For every Liverpudlian kid growing up in the 90's there was only one player you pretended to be on the playing ground, and it was him.

My absolute hero, Southall a close second.
