Your favourite Beatles song...

I used to do that but these days I'm fascinated by the sequencing of tracks on the White Album - i think it is an integral part of the record's greatness so I always play "Revolution 9" now and it sounds wonderful. And it's a great counterpoint to "Goodnight."

On very rare occasions I'll listen to Revolution#9 all the way through, but the best thing about The White Album is it has so many different kinds of songs that everyone will like something different.

One of my favourite non-studio albums ever is The 'Love Album' which was put together for the Cirque du Soleil shows,

The way George Martin got the songs to fit together is nothing short of genius.

The long and winding road
Lady Madonna
Hey Jude
All things must pass
Eleanor Rigby
For you blue
Here comes the sun
Norwegian wood
Penny lane
She's leaving home
Something
While my guitar gently weeps
Yesterday
