Your Favourite Bars in Liverpool

I'm intrigued to know where you's all drink; what are your favourite places for an alcoholic beverage in Liverpool? Personally, as i've gotten older (I'm 24, but yano...) I've much preferred somewhere with a good atmosphere where I can sit and have a laugh/chat/quiet drink on my own. My favourite place at the moment for a quiet drink is probably The Grapes, El Bandito on a night out.

How about you? Quiet or hectic, up-its arse or rough-as-****; All recommendations will be duly tried and tested, that I can assure you.

Some Irish bar where I fingered a bird that must've been either late 30's or addicted to crack when I was 16.

Think it might've been Concert Square.

Heebies, bit expensive but good music in there and the downstairs bit is boss.

Bar Bodega is a good one as well, think it's new as i'd never heard of it before this year and not many others have either.

If you fancy nipping over the water there is a cracking boozer in Birkenhead call Gallaghers. half pub half barbers. Has some great Ales on in there that they switch regularly.
