I know barkley is not in there, I think he's amazing already but I do feel we have to be careful with him this season. When ready I would have him instead of Osman. I also think Coleman is our future at RB but for now RW he gives us pace. I do think Donovan will come in Jan tho on loan and take that place temporally. Finally in that team I also think there is a strong case for heitinga to replace Distin in some games. When height is important Distin starts when playing teams like utd with Rooney and chicco I'd go with heitinga.

supposed to keep enemy in check with a creative, fast midfield whilst having six bodies to defend. Plus, when doing counter attacks, Fel & Rodders would be crucial, opening up the counter play.

Know how we struggle to score? Well, because we always do some good pressure on lower rated teams but we cannot make use of having more bodies than them in midfield. With Pip and Leighton taking up a more offensive role & Felli dropping back, we'd have 3 guys back and 7 pressuring the opposition. I also think that Cahill would do well with Saha and Stracq. Stracq will get his headers and fore saves Cahill could poach.

I usually end up conceding to Browns even when I know I'm right. His dominant nature comes to the fore and makes you feel like jelly.

Some good lineups here. One thing I wouldn't mind seeing is a return to proper 4-5-1 with three centre mids in a line. We have the players to do it now with Drenthe and Coleman actually having some pace on the flanks. It'd be nice to see us completely dominate the midfield with sheer numbers like we used to, but then be able to play our wide players in behind. Come on Tim Cahill, get in there Tim.
