Not Safe For Work! Your biggest regret?

I know a lot of people have that kind of defining moment. Take a step back mate and appreciate you wouldn't be the stand up sunbed Blue you are today if you hadn't have been put through the mill back then. The whole set-up with family etc is all related. You're a stronger man now :)

I got kicked off my medical degree thanks to a mate introducing me to student politics, Manchester nightclubs, booze and fallen women. Until that point I was a farm boy from the mountains. But for the lad that led me astray back then I could have been working 80hrs a week for the NHS saving hundreds of live each month. Instead I wear a shiney suit, have shiney teeth and work with spivvy Tory investors. I have no soul.

Actually, thinking about that, @peteblue - let me know if you want to look at an equity release scheme. You're not getting any younger mate. I'll give you 20% of the value of your house now in hard cash. And you can live in it for at least the next 3 years without paying rent. Call me - 07536 822901 :bye:

Except I'd be earning around 15 times per week what I earn now, straight away I'd have been on 5x my wage.

My mates that are draughtsmen attend EVERY Utd. European away and went to Brazil watching them btw. They have cash to sponk on whatever they wish and always have had, whilst I was operating machinery on shifts for next to nothing.

I think I'dve been able to provide myself and family with quite a bit more happiness.
