Name 3 players from the reserves that you think should be given a chance in the first team. Mine would be: John Lundstram, Shane Duffy and Matthew Kennedy.

Duffy for obvious reasons (i.e Heitinga)

Kennedy - an unknown quantity could make an impact on the wing in the same way sterling did earlier in the season

Lundstram - surely a better option than Neville in the middle?

They are quite obviously not good enough if they can't make it onto the bench. Although I would like to see Duffy play. Been consistent on our bench for 2 seasons and even enjoyed successful loan spells to Championship clubs.

I've been impressed with Lundstram and duffy from what i've seen of them so wouldn't midn them 2 slowly being intergrated into the first team, a few sub appearances at the ends of games we're winning, then maybe progressing onto starts at home against "lesser" teams.

Not thrown straight into the team against Chelsea and labbeled not good enough after one mistake. Or sitting on the bench getting splinters in their ass when total gashness plays ahead of them.

Throw the dice and take the chance. They will not be worse than the Neville/Osman centre midfield that slowly strangled the life out of the rest of the team carrying them. Unbelievable we got as many points as we did with that CM partnership.

Duffy has to be at the top of the list. He's played really well when called upon and has consistently been on the fringes. I actually think he will be the next youth to become a regular. Next up would be Vellios, every time he has come on he's had an good impact and with injury-prone Vic and out of form Jelavic we need him the most out of the youth.

Other than those two I'm not sure. We need a new RB with Neville being gash and Coleman struggling with injuries so hopefully Stones will be ready sooner rather than later. Garbutt and McAleny are also good shouts.

duffy for me , was really impressed with him last season when he came into the squad , got an old head on young shoulders . its almost criminal that heitinga on current form is ahead of him . would rather give duffy a chance over heitinga anyday.
