Bruce Wayne

Player Valuation: £100m
The top clubs generally have an abundance of young talent, particularly up front and would perhaps be open to them going out on loan. Players like Welbeck at United and Vela at Arsenal don't look like getting that much first team action but could perhaps do a job for us.

Arsenal:Merida, Vela, Fonte, Lansbury, Randall

Man Utd:Welbeck, Fabio

Chelsea: Stoch

Too much of a gamble IMO if there's other more experienced strikers around that we've been rumoured to be linked with.

Wouldnt say no, but only as another backup option.

But what would it do to Anichebe's confidence that a kid either younger or at the same age would come in and be more of a choice than he would?

They're not really that proven either. There's only Vela that looks like he can be a top striker IMO after seeing him in the Champions League, everyone else has only a limited appearences in the Carling Cup.

I'd take Vela, he can play upfront aswell as wide left. He'd be useful but I'd also like to get a more experienced striker aswell.

Some good youngsters at other clubs, but we also have some good youngsters. There is nothing better than experience for the development of our kids, we should give them a chance before we let other clubs use us as an extension of their acadamies.

dont think the top four would loan us anyone as the threat we pose to them:dodgy:

Arsenal wouldnt at the moment. Man Utd could but doubt it cos Fergie only gets rid of the ones he doesnt rate, and their to lower leagues. Frazier Campbell being the exception, but I dont think he rates him either which is why he's at Spurs and Welbeck aint going anywhere.

i had a think about this yesterday and came to the conclusion that we have enough youngsters who need to get experience to develop and dont really need any more.

maybe a developing center back would fit nicely ?

but in the midfeild and forward positions we need someone atleast age 24+ to make an impact on the squad.

we need someone to challenge the first 11 and to motivate the younger players to try harder to break into the team themselves.

what we dont want is new signings just to make up the numbers.
all our signings this season have appeared to be just that , apart from fellaini and perhaps saha.

I'd argue that Castillo wasnt picked to just make up the numbers. He could've been a replacement for Carsely and was thrown straight in. He just needed some time to fit in and understand the english game more like Fellaini did. But by that time I think Moyes changed tact (and he said this in an interview) leaving him out because he didnt want a deep laying defensive midfielder when Saha, Yak, Fellaini and Cahill were all fit and playing in a 4-4-2.

only united would consider it.

we are very close to arsenal in the league.

that vela looks [Poor language removed] hot though.
