Davies and DCL do not deserve some special protection from criticism. They've both blown their chance. Not good enough. Loan out and hope for the best. Let them learn the trade on somebody else's time, because they certainly aren't cutting it at this level.

I dont think they deserve special protection but DCL has played about 15 mins in 2 games this season and Davies has played 1 and 1/2 games and done okay in both in my opinion. As I said before they are not the reason we have dropped points this season.

I think Davies has gone backwards a bit. He would benefit from a loan spell in the Championship, a bit like Seamus when he went to Blackpool. Calvert-Lewin I don't think is good enough, but again should be loaned out to someone like Bolton. If he scores a few and gets his confidence up there then great. If not then we should offload him.

If Davies put as much effort into his football as he does his Deidre Barlow lookalike act we'd have some player on our hands.

People just overhyped the young players/acedemy way too far. At most they would make it to the level like Osman and Hibbert. Of course Rooney is the exception. He is like 1 in a million.
