Sorry mushes but I dont get your boy Barkley wanting to leave and hope that’s his career downhill now. I remember watching you in the cup not so long back and it was a good squad with big young talent like him Lukaku and Stones. Why have they been allowed to leave instead of building on them? The young Spanish kid too the quick one.

...they left because they wanted to leave. That’s the way things usually turn out when the likes of United and City come calling, even if they’re under contract.

Exactly so why they leaving if you have the money now to kick on?

With Lukaku, it was a case of him moving for his career more than anything else. He sees himself - rightly - as among the best strikers in the world and wanted to prove it. We got at the time a joint world-record fee.

Stones, we kept him a year longer than initially feared. He's a world class talent and I'm glad for him he's doing well as it proved the doubters wrong. However, he was part of a crap defence at the end of the day for us.

Ross is a weird one. Down to both club and player but he should be staying and should be our skipper for the next five years. Shame he wants out..

Not arsed about Gerri.

The issue with all of the above is as good as they are, they also flattered to deceive massively with us and weren't part of any success.

Mush you’re talking as though Everton isn’t a big thing with good resources and looking up rather than down. These lads were regulars for their countries and there’s no reason to leave so young.

Quite a few of our so called fans have slated all of these young players as well.

You can look at the abuse Rom got in the summer. Barkley is getting it now and a few years back Stones was getting it.

All these players were over rated according to some.

Like a jilted teenage girl is our fanbase.

Barkley seemingly likes an arm round the shoulder rather than tough love.
Last season Koeman spent most of it burying him in the media. I think at what point Koeman even admitted Ross had asked him "why do you keep criticising me?". Or words to that effect anyway.

Throw in the fact that he has been booed and castigated at games and it's easy to see why he would want to go to Spurs etc.

Deulofeu was top drawer at times but not consistent.

John Stones was always destined to play for one of the big clubs. He just needed a manager to teach him the basics of defending. Pep has done that.

So as a summary, Barkley is sick of being the focus of negative attention it seems, Stones and Lukaku were too good for a team who finished 11th and 7th. Deulofeu had paper lungs.

Let us know if you need anything else mate.

Thanks mush. They are young fellas though so they’re gonna be inconsistent aren’t they and then they find that as they get older. It should be with Everton.

Because he has been here 3 years longer than you and this place is welcoming to away fans. I asked an honest question stop crying like a little baby delicate girl.
Clogging up the forum with the bollocks you talk.

No one is arsed what a Birmingham City fan (if you are, I’m sensing Kopite) has to say about our club.
