Probably two of the most famous attacking partnerships of the 90's in the Premier League

Who do you think was better?

Shearer was the better player out of the 4, but Yorke and Cole won the big one.

Arguably Cole was the worst actual player of the 4, needed 8 chances to score 1, but he did get those chances.

I went Yorke and Cole pyarly as they won the Champions League.

All of this. Cole's performance vs West Ham on the last day when Blackburn won the title was pyar comedy gold. I always play that back in my head at double speed with the benny hill theme tune.

Tough call, there wasn't much to choose between them in terms of impact

Went for Shearer and Sutton though in the end, mainly because Sutton was arguably the weakest of the four and the SAS partnership just delivered more than the sum of it's parts.

Yorke and Cole did it in Europe as well. But Utd really had 4 strikers in that side, so although they scored billions of goals, the side wasnt dependent on them. So no idea really. But Cole played for Bristol City, and was ace for them also, so Cole and Yorke.

I think.

Yorke & Cole for me, they were definitely telepathic. Great partnership, I would hazard a guess that they assisted each other more than Shearer & Sutton who worked well together but probably got more assists from other players. Hard stat to find, I suppose?

Still remember Waggy & Gough (with a combined age of 3564) doing OK against them the first game of the season after they won the Champions League.

Good point that. They were best mates as well.
