Actually I've been meaning to comment on this - this quote was supposed to come from an interview with "turkish papers". Throughout the summer I've used Google Haberler (News) and online translators to find out what's going on with Yobo (sad, I know). This quote, when it appeared two days after it was first mentioned, was attributed to "ESPN UK" in the turkish press. Unless it came from a paper that's not indexed by google - and considering how unusual it would be for us to comment on transfer deals that are in the pipeline - I think that this quote has originated somewhere on the seedy back alleys of the web (ie Sniderman). Of course, I might be wrong, so could you please find me the actual interview from which this was taken?

Anyway, the aforementioned turkish press now seem to thinkthat Trabzonspor might be willing to take Yobo on loan or for 3 million € and have narrowed their CB shortlist to Yobo and Bassong (both available for the same money, apparently):
