Everton defender Joseph Yobo has agreed in principle to a new 5-year-deal, according to the Nigerians agent John Shittu.
Shittu: “There is no question of wage parity as Yobo is already one of the club’s best paid players. He was the first player to break Everton’s wage structure when he signed the present renewal three years ago and I can tell you we have agreed a new five-year deal in principle which he’s likely to sign before the FA Cup final on May 30”,
“Everton were happy to give Yobo the new deal even at 28 years old and he also loves to stay with the club. At any rate he does not want to leave the United Kingdom and would only consider a move if it is to any of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal. It’s a good deal and we are happy with it”
