One year deal, most of it loaded to appearance based why not, someone like Newcastle or West Ham will offer him a 3 year deal anyway and he will be terrible for them.

Obviously yes I'd give it a shot. Not my money (and at one year contract with club option for more, which is all he'd get, it's a very low risk).

Yes he missed 90 games but he also played 90 games -- we'd be unlucky to get literally nothing from him. He's a play-maker. Sign him up!
